Fitness Disclaimer

Effective date: August 27, 2026

The information and services provided by vFit are for general fitness, education, and coaching purposes. They are not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, physical therapy, or a substitute for care from a qualified healthcare professional.

Medical Clearance and Readiness

Before beginning or changing an exercise program, consult an appropriate healthcare professional when you have a medical condition, injury, pain, concerning symptoms, pregnancy or postpartum considerations, or have been advised to obtain clearance. vFit may request completion of a readiness questionnaire or medical clearance before coaching begins.

Provide accurate, current information about any factor that may affect exercise. Tell vFit promptly about material changes in your health, symptoms, injuries, medications, pregnancy or postpartum status, or healthcare guidance.

Exercise Risks

Physical activity involves inherent risks, including soreness, strains, falls, injury, aggravation of an existing condition, and—in rare cases—serious medical events. No exercise program can eliminate all risk.

Stop exercising and seek appropriate medical attention if you experience chest pain or pressure, fainting, severe dizziness, unusual shortness of breath, sudden weakness, loss of awareness, severe or rapidly worsening pain, or another concerning symptom. Call emergency services for an emergency. Do not use the website, inquiry form, messaging, or a coaching session for emergency care.

Virtual Coaching Limitations

During virtual coaching, Sam cannot physically assist you, fully inspect your surroundings, verify equipment condition, or observe every angle of every movement. You are responsible for using a safe exercise area, maintaining appropriate equipment, following instructions, choosing an appropriate effort level, and stopping when a movement feels unsafe or produces concerning pain or symptoms.

If technology, space, equipment, visibility, or another condition prevents an exercise from being performed safely, do not continue that exercise.

Individual Results

Fitness results vary based on health, consistency, nutrition, recovery, stress, age, genetics, adherence, and other factors. vFit does not guarantee a particular result, rate of progress, or outcome.

Scope of Coaching

vFit may provide general information about exercise, recovery, habits, and healthy-lifestyle practices within the scope of fitness coaching. vFit does not provide medical treatment, rehabilitation, psychotherapy, or individualized medical nutrition therapy.

Submitting an inquiry does not create a trainer-client relationship. Coaching begins only after vFit accepts the client and the parties agree to the applicable service, policies, and payment terms.

Questions

If you are unsure whether an exercise or vFit service is appropriate for you, discuss the concern with Sam before proceeding and consult a qualified healthcare professional when appropriate.
